SMALTA
TSVITE TEREN präsentiert gemeinsam mit der Nichtregierungsorganisation Ukraine WOW und der Stiftung von Alla Horska und Viktor Zaretsky die limitierte Anhänger-Kollektion SMALTA. Die Linie ist dem Mosaik „Boryviter“ gewidmet, das 1967 in Mariupol von einer Künstlergruppe unter der Leitung von Alla Horska geschaffen wurde. Grundlage des Anhängers ist authentische Smalte aus den 1960er-Jahren — genau aus ihr wurde im Sommer 2025 der „Boryviter“ wiederhergestellt. Damals stellten 15 Monumentalkünstler das Originalmosaik bis ins kleinste Detail nach, das während der umfassenden Invasion schwer beschädigt worden war. Für den „Boryviter“ wurden 700 Kilogramm Smalte verwendet. Die kleinen Fragmente, die man absplitterte, um das Panneau zusammenzusetzen, wurden aufbewahrt.
TSVITE TEREN, in collaboration with the Ukraine WOW public organization and the Alla Horska and Victor Zaretskyi Foundation, presents a limited edition collection of SMALTA pendants. The line is dedicated to the Boryviter mosaic, created in Mariupol in 1967 by a group of artists led by Alla Horska.
The pendant is based on authentic smalto from the 1960s, which was used to recreate “Boryviter” in the summer of 2025. At that time, 15 monumental artists reproduced the original mosaic in the smallest details, which had been severely damaged during a full-scale invasion. 700 kilograms of smalto were used for "Boryviter". The small fragments that were chipped off to assemble the panel were preserved.
As a symbol of courage and creative freedom, the jewelry comes alive and speaks its meaning on the wonderful Olena Zaretska — an artist and the granddaughter of Alla Horska. "I'm ready to be a bridge — that's my mission. I want as many people as possible to learn about this part of art history and the history of Ukraine."
